Step 1: Unboxing Your Trezor®
Open the package containing your Trezor® hardware wallet.
Inside, you'll find the Trezor® device, a USB cable, and any additional accessories included with your purchase.
Step 2: Connecting Your Trezor®
Plug one end of the USB cable into your Trezor® device and the other end into a USB port on your computer or mobile device.
Your device will power on automatically once connected.
Step 3: Setting Up Your Trezor®
Visit the Trezor® website (trezor.io/start) using a compatible web browser.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Trezor® Bridge, a software application that facilitates communication between your device and your computer.
Once the Trezor® Bridge is installed, refresh the webpage, and you'll be prompted to create a new wallet.
Choose a name for your wallet and set a strong passphrase. This passphrase will serve as an additional layer of security for your device.
Next, you'll be asked to write down your recovery seed. This is a series of 24 randomly generated words that you must store securely. In case your device is lost or damaged, you can use these words to recover your funds.
Confirm that you've written down your recovery seed correctly, and your Trezor® wallet setup is complete.
Step 4: Accessing Your Wallet
After completing the setup process, you can access your Trezor® wallet through the Trezor® website or compatible wallet applications.
Connect your Trezor® device to your computer or mobile device using the USB cable.
Enter your PIN on the Trezor® device when prompted.
Once authenticated, you'll be able to view your wallet balance, send and receive cryptocurrency, and manage your account settings.
Step 5: Managing Your Cryptocurrency
To receive cryptocurrency, navigate to the "Receive" section of your Trezor® wallet and copy your wallet address.
Share this address with the sender to receive funds.
